The Rohingya people have issued five urgent appeals to the UN and the international community, demanding protection, justice, and the right to rebuild their homeland

1. Internationally Guaranteed Safe Zone under R2P

We call for the establishment of a protected Safe Zone in Northern Arakan under the principle of the Responsibility to Protect (R2P). This zone must be internationally monitored and secured to prevent further genocidal attacks and to guarantee our right to live in safety on our ancestral land.

2. Safe, Voluntary, and Dignified Repatriation

We demand a time-bound roadmap for repatriation under international supervision, directly linked to the establishment of the Safe Zone. Repatriation must be voluntary, dignified, and secure, and cannot be entrusted to the genocidal Myanmar military or the Nazi-like Arakan Army.

3. Right to Self-Determination and Political Representation

We insist on the right to self-determination through meaningful self-governance in our homeland, and participate fully at all levels of governance.

4. Justice and Accountability for Genocide

We demand that Myanmar military leaders, Arakan Army commanders, and their collaborators be held accountable before international courts for genocide and crimes against humanity. Mechanisms for truth-telling, reparations, and restitution must be established for the destruction of our lives, land, and property.

5. Rebuilding Our Nation

We call for international support in rebuilding our homeland and community , restoring our villages, schools, farms, and infrastructure, so that the Rohingya people can live with dignity, equality, and peace in our rightful land.
