A delegation from the British High Commission Dhaka visited World Food Programme operations in Bhasan Char, observing aid support for Rohingya refugees, WFP said.

The team toured Integrated Nutrition Facilities providing treatment for children and pregnant and breastfeeding women, as well as home and kitchen gardens helping families grow fresh food.

They also visited a rice fortification plant producing nutrient-enriched rice to address deficiencies, and reviewed systems that allow refugees to raise concerns and access assistance.

WFP thanked the UK Government for continued support to Rohingya refugees and host communities in Bangladesh.
