Turkish Parliamentary Delegation Visits Rohingya Camps in Cox’s Bazar

A six-member delegation from the Turkish Grand National Assembly, led by H.E. Mr. Mehmet Akif Yılmaz, visited Cox’s Bazar and the Rohingya refugee camps to observe ongoing humanitarian operations. The visit was facilitated by the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in Dhaka.
During their visit, the delegation commended the effective coordination and humanitarian efforts of the Office of the Refugee Relief and Repatriation Commissioner (RRRC) and expressed deep appreciation for Bangladesh’s continued generosity in hosting the displaced Rohingya community.
In a courtesy meeting with the RRRC, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to ongoing collaboration in supporting the Rohingya response. The Turkish delegation reiterated Türkiye’s intention to sustain and strengthen its humanitarian partnership with Bangladesh.
On behalf of the Government of Bangladesh, the RRRC extended sincere gratitude to the Government of the Republic of Türkiye for its steadfast support and solidarity with the Rohingya response.
