Rohingya President Panel Meets with APHR Team in Camp 16

The Rohingya President Panel conveyed an important meeting on Tuesday morning around 7:30 at the camp 16 CiC office, with the facilitation of the ASEAN Parliamentarians for Human Rights(APHR) team, panel member Mv Sayed Ullah told Arakan Now.
The discussed focused on the humanitarian challenges faced by the Rohingya refugees, highlighting ongoing concerns about restrictions, displacement and protection. A key issue raised was urgent call for the release of detained Rohingya in Malaysia and other countries, where many remain in difficult conditions. The panel also called for all unregistered refugees in Malaysia to be properly registered, ensuring their access to protection and basic services.
Panel members also emphasized the necessity of international cooperation and support to ensure the safe, voluntary, and dignified repatriation of the Rohingya to their homeland in Myanmar.
The Rohingya President Panel expressed appreciation for APHR’s role in facilitating the dialogue and for its ongoing commitment to raising international awareness for the Rohingya community's plight.
