NCP Bangladesh Calls for Urgent Action on Rohingya Repatriation

Nahid Islam, a leading voice from the National Citizen Party (NCP) Bangladesh, has issued a heartfelt appeal to the United Nations, international bodies, and the Chief Adviser to the Government of Bangladesh, Dr. Md Yunus, urging immediate and concrete steps to resolve the long-standing Rohingya crisis.
In his address, he emphasizes the need for a dignified, voluntary repatriation of the Rohingya people to their homeland, with full recognition of their citizenship, rights, and guaranteed safety.
“Now is the time for bold leadership and international solidarity,” he stated. “Let justice, dignity, and peace lead the way.”
He also paid tribute to a Rohingya martyr who lost his life during recent student protests in Bangladesh against Sheikh Hasina’s regime, honoring his sacrifice as a symbol of the ongoing struggle for justice and equal rights.
