Bangladesh High-Level Delegation Led by National Security Adviser Holds Talks with UCR on Rohingya Crisis

A Bangladesh high-level delegation led by H.E. Khalilur Rahman, National Security Adviser and High Representative to the Honorable Chief Adviser on the Rohingya Crisis, held a fruitful discussion with the United Council of Rohingya (UCR). The delegation also included Honorable Mr. Mizanur Rahman, Refugee Relief and Repatriation Commissioner (RRRC), along with senior officials, according to UCR.


The discussion focused on the current Rohingya situation and future plans aimed at achieving a sustainable and durable solution to the long-standing crisis. Key issues, including protection, regional stability, and pathways toward a lasting solution, were discussed in detail.


The meeting was attended by members of the UCR presidential panel and executive committee, who shared their perspectives and recommendations on Rohingya rights, security, and long-term solutions.


Speaking to Arakan Now, Sayer Ullah, current President of UCR, emphasised the importance of unity, saying, “We call for the cooperation of all Rohingya leaders and activists around the world to work together for a sustainable solution to the Rohingya crisis.”
