Arakan Army Orders Villagers to Hand over Bangla SIM Cards by September 30

Arakan Army has ordered in Phone Nyo Lake Village, Buthidaung, to hand over all Bangladeshi SIM card before 30th September.

Villagers say these SIM cards are their only way to talk to family members living aboard.

"The only way we could hear our loved ones' voices is now being taken away," said one Villager. "We feel completely cut off."

The order has caused fear and sadness in the village, as people worry they will lose touch with family forever.
