Two Rohingya youths were killed after an RPG-7 shell exploded near Htan Shauk Kan Village in Buthidaung Township
The deceased were identified as Saifullah (15) and Mohammed Faisal (14).
According to residents, the two boys were tending buffaloes near Htan Shauk Kan Village on October 19 when they accidentally came into contact with an unexploded RPG-7 shell buried in the ground. The shell detonated, causing fatal injuries.
“They were herding buffaloes when they accidentally hit the shell and it exploded. Both of them died instantly, and their bodies were badly wounded,” a resident said.
