UK MP Imran Hussain Hosts Rohingya Lobby Day

This week, UK Member of Parliament Imran Hussain hosted a powerful Rohingya Lobby Day in Parliament, bringing together parliamentarians, human rights advocates, and community leaders to address the ongoing plight of the Rohingya people.

In a Facebook post shared after the event, MP Hussain emphasised that “Justice for the Rohingya can’t wait.” He called for greater action both globally and locally to end the ongoing persecution and to create a safe and dignified path for the Rohingya to return to their homeland.

He also highlighted the role of Bradford’s Rohingya community, stressing that the crisis is not a distant one—it is urgent and deeply personal for many living in the UK and around the world.
